Yes, it’s 2005, the year of my re-birth as a high-functioning individual. The next few months will include the following:
1. The writing of my thesis, or what I am now calling a “narrative.” It just sounds more accurate somehow.
2. My graduation from the School of Information.
3. Buying a camper top for my truck (mundane, I know, but I am excited by such things).
4. Leaving Austin, probably right when I like it the most.
5. Finding a job and a new city to live in. I’m obsessed with Chicago right now, but it could change…
6. Learning French, or at least how to read French. Shouldn’t be too hard, maybe those two years of Latin will rise from the graveyard in my head.
7. In six months, minus two days, I will be 30 years old.

Seven is a good number, so I’ll stop there for now.
